The arm comes with a 240mL tank which can be easily removed and refilled. This makes it much easier to use as opposed to the mop pads that are found on many other 2-in-1 robotic arm. It also makes use of the iRobot's PrevisionVision technology to avoid obstacles, which is more advanced than some systems of this type.

iRobot Combo i5

Designed for both vacuuming and mopping with one machine it is a great option for those who are multitaskers. Its vacuuming is accomplished with a specially designed bin that holds up to 60 days worth of debris and iRobot claims will reduce the amount of dust released into the air during the process. iRobot Combo i3

The iRobot Combo i3 is an updated version of the original Roomba i3. It has the same great external dirt compartment and a HEPA filter to snuff out allergens, but now it also supports smart mapping. This means you can create no-go zones to stop it from vacuuming those areas again. The i3 Plus still has a bunch of other excellent features too like its advanced cleaning system with 10x power-lifting suction and a three-stage cleaning process. It also has a textured surface to protect against fingerprints, dust and pet hair.

It performs well on bare flooring and can clean up most of the debris however it had trouble with pet hair on low-pile carpets. It does an excellent job with high pile carpets though and is much quieter than its rivals. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it has a self-emptying station which emptys the dirtbag, refills its water reservoir, and cleans the mop pads.

With the i3 app you can create schedules to clean at a specific time to suit your requirements. You can also control your robot mop and vacuum combo using your voice assistant to begin or stop cleaning. It can also track your home's unique layout to give you a personalized cleaning routine and schedule. It utilizes advanced mapping sensors to help you navigate hardwood and carpet floors, and it also teaches you how you clean to improve performance.
